Adriana P.
I started in childcare 2003 when my oldest daughter was 9 months old. I have tried other careers, but caring for children is the best. I have experience with school aged children, preschool children, but toddlers and infants are my specialty. I am currently the lead toddler teacher in a local preschool and I am excited to care for children in their own home environment. I meet and exceed the Florida Early Learning and Developmental Standards caring for children, especially from birth to four years of age. I focus on the whole child- mind, body and soul to adjust myself to match their emotional and physical daily needs by establishing a routine that is flexible for them. I love teaching children outside so they can explore and discover the world around them with hands on learning. I maintain a sanitary, happy and safe classroom as a toddler teacher, keeping the classroom tour ready. I believe in leaving a place nicer than you found it. I create weekly lesson plans that include potty training, circle time, music/movement, art, story/library time, free play, outside play, nap time, etc. that I will happily custom fit to the requests of parents and the needs of the children. I believe in and teach the golden rule: treat others as you would like to be treated- with respect and kindness.
