I spent my teenage years volunteering at a youth theater as the choreographer. It was during that time that I began to mentor the children. I noticed that they began to look up to me and soon realized the responsibility I had with shaping their young minds. Since high school, I’ve gone on to college and have since graduated. Now, I am post grad living in the heart of downtown Grand Rapids searching for a part-time job. Those 4 years working at the theater were some of the most impactful years of my life this far. Watching the kids grow, learn, gain confidence, make friends, and jump out of their shells was so rewarding to witness and be apart of. It is our responsibility to help the next generation be the best versions of themselves they can be.
