I'm Amelia, a junior at UNO, studying Child Psych & Development. I moved up here almost a year ago from Omaha, NE. Upon arrival, I have been working online full-time completing my major. I have 5+ years of child care experience ranging from different settings, ages, and learning curriculums. I have experience caring for children with ASD, ADHD, DS, and other conditions. I love working with children and utilizing my background knowledge of developmental stages by providing age-appropriate activities to aid in proper development of all skill areas, all while keeping each child present, active, and engaged on a personal level. In my spare time I enjoy cooking, reading, art, and gardening. I'm very artistic and creative, constantly brainstorming and planning new ideas, activities, and games to keep your children occupied and happy while tailoring each activity to the specific child. I am CPR certified, as well as a certification in basic healthcare. I look forward to speaking with you!
I have completed various early childhood education coursework and am working towards my degree in Child Psych and Development, in hopes to eventually become a pediatric occupational therapist specializing in childhood development.
