At Maria's Family Child care, we believe that children grow, learn, and thrive by feeling safe, loved, and nurtured. It is our goal to provide an environment that engages children with developmentally-appropriate activities and materials. In our program, children will feel supported as they engage with new ideas and learnings. We are a Spanish-immersion program. Children in our program learn through play and different emergent curriculum activities as well.
I love working and teaching children, it is rewarding to watch them grow and prosper over time and I’m very grateful to be able to contribute to their learning and development. We follow a curriculum and spend as much time outdoors as possible (weather permitting). I assist the children in learning independence, communication, social skills, and help them be kindergarten ready.
I am licensed with the state, have a CDA, NAFCC, and I am up to date with my annual training hours.
Our cozy home has ample space for the children to play, learn, and grow. Inside our home, the children have access to many educational toys and a work table they can use to write or draw. We maintain a clean and organized environment to encourage the children to foster good behaviors and creativity while feeling a high sense of comfortability.
