Little Gosling's Daycare takes a balanced approach to learning, focusing on the child as a whole. As a licensed teacher, I enjoy developing my own curriculum based on the needs and interests of the students. I also utilize a hands-on Preschool curriculum Playing Preschool, which focuses on reading comprehension, math skills, number sense, recall and retell, alphabet knowledge, and school skills. Each day is filled with a variety of teacher-directed and child-initiated activities that foster the overall growth of each individual child. Throughout the day, we focus on social skills, group time, math concepts, language and literacy/handwriting, Spanish, Sign Language, science, art, as well as fine and gross motor skills. I strongly believe in having a loving and nurturing environment in which each child can learn and grow through play and daily teacher-directed activities.
