Erika G.
I consider myself a caring, patient, and enthusiastic individual naturally good with kids. After being complimented on my ability to engage with children of all ages and backgrounds effectively, I decided to dedicate myself to child welfare, education, and care. I've worked as an assistant, caretaker, and tutor for a family of three boys ages 5, 11, 12, a mentor for the Boys and Girls Club, an educational assistant in a moderate to severe special needs classroom, a court-appointed advocate for foster children, and as a residential care worker for CPS. In every single one of these positions, I was complimented by my peers and supervisors on my ability to motivate children, but most importantly, by the children themselves.
My biggest goal in life is to one day be an adoptive parent of children with special needs to help raise independent and happy adults. Please get in touch with me if you seek a diligent, creative, committed, and kind caretaker who is trusty and has a child-centered approach to care and education.
