My first job was at the YMCA in childcare. While I was a senior in high school, I worked part time at a local day care, which turned to a full time position after I graduated. I cared for children ages 2-5, and then moved to after school care. While I was working with children ages 6-12, I frequently helped with homework, bible study, and played lots of outdoor games. During the summer, I was responsible for activities which included transporting 6-10 children in the school van to places like bowling, splash valley (a gym waterpark) and many others.
