Tyana B.
I love children. I love interacting people and helping people achieve their goals that is why I picked my major. I have always had a sweet spot for kids. For example, when I go to someone’s house and I notice there is a child, I usually end up playing with them.
I am the eldest of five kids and eldest grandchild on both sides of my family. I grew up in Asia and the US. I have done just about every type of schooling so I can help with homework.
I have a special needs brother who I have helped taken care of and have helped with his therapy.
I taught a leadership and creativity class for a year every Tuesday for 1st graders. I worked in children’s church for toddlers and five year olds for at least a year. I had playground duty in the mornings before school and afternoons after school where I watched kids.
I read to kids after school for an hour. I have babysat kids for a few years whether it be my cousins or, kids from church, or kids from the primary school next to my high school.
I was a student leader at my high school.
I started a children’s church in Nepali for five year olds - 17 year olds. I have dozens of Bible camps and outreaches with different churches.
In the process of getting my B.S. in Business Management at Oral Roberts University.
