I did take care of my brother from the age of 12-17, but that was about 5 years ago. My parents had to work longer hours and didn't get much time off. So, during the holidays, summertime, weekends and even after school I was his caretaker. On the days that I had off in the summer or holidays I would clean the house for my mom. I wiped down all the bedrooms, made the beds, vacuumed the whole house, dusted the living room+wipe down, washed dishes, took out the trash, the bathroom and kitchen were a top down situation, and most importantly I took the meat out of the fridge (most of the time lol). I guess I miss doing that? Seeing my boyfriends mom become a mom later again in life and just enjoying the hell out of it made me really want a more motivating and wholesome job. I know it is hard work but I think it's rewarding. Working with children seems like a breath of fresh air considering I've only worked with adults. But that's my little speech I guess! Stay safe!
