I was a stay at home mom, and raised 3 children in Vermont. In 2019 I took an early retirment from the State of Vemont and spent the past 3 years as a full time Nanny in Arizona. I just relocated back to the east coast, staying with my son in Queens, until I find the perfect family within 2-3 hours from here.
In Arizona I worked for 3 years as a Nanny. Most recently through a Nanny Service where I worked with a variety of families with different needs, often with infants or with several children at a time. I have worked with twin infants, which included overseas travel. I obtained an AZ Fingerprint Card (extensive background check) and an AZ Teachers Certificate. I was thinking of getting back into the school system, but really prefer to work with infants and children privately.
I love children! I have patience and a gentle approach to care. Working on building the children’s self-confidence with successful activities is a priority for me. I like to keep busy, when the child is napping, I will do light housekeeping. In my free time, I am outdoors hiking or kayaking. I also like to paint and do crafts. I plan on being a Nanny for at least 5 years.
