I am writing to inquire about the opening for nanny.

I offer experience in nanny/family assistant. Hello, my name is Piterson Ferdinand. I have over five years of experience in childcare. I pride myself on being an attentive childcare professional. Over these years I have acquired many skills in childcare to list a few that would be an emphasis on providing emotional support, creating recreational and educational activities, and maintaining a fun and safe environment for the children I am providing care for. I like to keep records of daily observations, incident reports and medications administered for the parents as well.

Clear and open communication is a huge part of my work and I also like to ensure all my activities are preapproved. I am CPR certified and also have experience with special needs children and adults. I encourage children to engage in healthy habits such as eating, resting, sharing and sanitary practices. I emphasize maintaining professional and friendly relationships with the families I work with. Lastly, one of my ultimate goals is to provide a safe, inclusive and engaging environment for the children.

Once in a while my guardian gives me a call to help her move a few things but mostly I help her take care of herself. I cook her breakfast, lunch and dinner in the summer times. She loves gardening I help her pick out the difficult plants and plants new ones in the summer. I help her shovel leaves in the fall time after a winter storm I shoveled a path and salt them to make sure she dose not slip or everyone else. I also drive her places that she needs to go and get some errands done which includes grocery shopping and also picking up items from Home Depot, and when we get home I help her set it up right away and make sure it works. I also help her drive to her friends house. Some of them are close by but most of them are one or two hours away. before I leave after spending a week or two, I make a huge lunch or dinner, so she has plenty left over for other days. I also make sure she takes her medicine when it’s time to. This is what I do for my guardian. Which makes me a strong candidate for this opening.

My career which is hospitality, and also being a manny, I get along with a lot of people, and English is my third language.
