Hello! My name is Lyric Greggs and I am 22-year-old artist and soon to be esthetician student. I've always loved working with children and being a contributing factor towards helping children having a healthy and happy development. I was always the babysitter in my family as young as 13 or 14 years old and I always loved it, so with me having that experience I feel as though I have ample babysitting and teaching curriculum experience. I was a boys and girls club alumni in high school. I volunteered for multiple years at an after-school program located at the middle school in my local area and taught art classes to the children there. I also completed an internship through the boys and girls club that allowed me to work with smaller children and create fun activities for them to do. Once I graduated from high school, I went on to teach art classes again for younger children and show them how to expand their creativity and artistic abilities. I've always been intrigued by the idea of gentle parenting, teaching children how to regulate their own emotions as well as learning how to regulate my own emotions and nervous system and being self-aware. I am in the middle of getting a certification to become a mindfulness practitioner and further educate children and adults on mindfulness and how it can be beneficial!
