Profile I have been working with children in a childcare setting for a little over 4 years now. I have worked at a before & after school program and a summer program for 3 years. I have experience nannying for 1 summer. This school year, I am a freshman at the University of Iowa State. There, I work at a preschool as a teacher assistant. I really love working with kids while making sure to be safe and kind. In high school, I took a college course where it was required to have 25 hours in a Special Education class. Another college course where it was required to have 60 hours in a kindergarten classroom. It's really important to me that the child or children are having fun and are entertained. Also, I am a patient caregiver. I think that having patience with kids is going to help them more in the long run.
Currently getting my bachelor's degree in early childhood education with a minor in Special Education.
