TeAunna L.
Nanny in Lees Summit, MO
Growing up I always wanted younger siblings but my parents didn’t plan on having more babies after me. Around 8th grade; I started watching after my baby cousin’s. Of course it may seem a bit easier because I was sitting for family; so I took my skills up a notch. In high school everyone needed community service to graduate. What I did to gain community service hours was not only to graduate but get more experience with childcare. I went to a childcare center and enjoyed my time helping their team. I was able to get knowledge for childcare jobs and all of my community service hours. After graduating; I enrolled to UCM. One year of college passed. Then over the summer I was looking for a job. I applied to be a assistant teacher for the Goddard school. Worked with them for 4 months. Reasoning on me leaving; low pay and far drive.
