Working with children is my absolute passion! Since I was young myself, I have always found joy in caring for others and especially younger children. Because of this passion of mine, I decided to obtain my bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education. I now have experience working with many different ages of children as well as different backgrounds. This past year, I taught english to kindergarten students in South Korea! From my work experience and extensive school courses, I've learned many fun, engaging and educational games and activities that are applicable for all young ages. I have also had the opportunity to further develop my own personal teaching style and philosophy.
My teaching philosophy is based around the premise that all children are unique and benefit greatly from an educational environment that acknowledges and supports this fact. I love to create and teach meaningful lessons for students to engage with and deeply connect with their learning.
Aside from my educational and work background, another passion of mine is travel. I find great joy in exploring new places and volunteering my time to people and communities in need. I have gained countless experiences and skills from putting myself into new environments across the globe. In my free time, I also enjoy being outdoors with family and friends or reading a new book.
