I love helping families have some ease in their lives so they can spend quality time with their children. To this end, I provide a range of child care and administrative services.

Since I was a teacher, I am always interested in helping young minds develop. And I am passionate about making sure everyone has healthy food options, and time for exercise and play. I went to Junior Trials for the Olympics in swimming when I was in high school and have respect for the power of sports on young people.

I have a fair amount of experience caring for children and managing household tasks. I have current child and adult first aid and CPR certifications and a reliable RAV4; and a great driving record.

Oh, and I "speak" dog, and a (very) little Italian.


Experience

Assisting a family with childcare and house management, including support for a major renovation project. Supporting a neurologically impaired child during the academic year. July, 2022 to present.

Provided care and tutoring to a 7-year-old boy during remote learning, September 2020 to June 2021.

Taught and cared for twin girls, age 3, June 2017 to March 2020. When the girls started Montessori school, I began to learn a bit about this system; and have employed some of the techniques and philosophy when working with other children.

Cared for a 2-year-old girl during the mornings and occasional weekends. April 2018 to September 2018.

Tutored 6th grader in math. January 2018 to May 2018.

Tutored 10th graders in history and English. December 2018 to May 2019.

Cared for a 3-year-old girl, June through August 2019.
