I have been a babysitter/ nanny for over 6 years. All throughout college, I babysat for families in my city and worked in childcare/ preschool/ public school early childhood classrooms. I love working inside the home as this allows children to feel safe and secure. I believe children thrive when they are able to explore their natural world with a safe and trusted adult.
I chose to pursue my degree in Early Childhood education because I deeply care for and value early childhood development, as well as teaching. This profession is natural and fulfilling as a nurturing person. The first 5 years of a young child’s life are the most vital for a strong development, I love being on that path witnessing and guiding.
When I am not working with children, I am most likely outside. I enjoy going to the beach, camping, gardening and exploring new cities. I also love to practice yoga, bake, and antique/ thrift shop:).
