Sue's Zoo Daycare

Learning and nurturing are inseparable. Curriculum; child-initiated and firmly grounded in age-appropriate challenges and expectations. To support the whole child: physical, social, emotional and intellectually. Foster a strong sense of autonomy and self-confidence, nourish curiosity, spark love of learning and support a peaceful, varied approach to problem solving. The idea that young children grow and learn when allowed to engage in active play. Play is the medium for expression; explore, constructive, manipulative and imaginary. We use the Creative Curriculum enhanced with Carol's Affordable Curriculum to plan for and support the early learning and development of children in our program. The place I teach and support children is geared toward children: I do not live here. It is allergy and pet free. Children with disabilities are welcome as long as I can accommodate the disability. I do limited sign language. I do Crisis Nursery for the community. I take CCAP because all children and their families deserve a quality education from birth on. We celebrate all holidays. Curriculum teaching starts from birth to school age.
