Program
My Little Sunflower Academy is a licensed bilingual child care in Yonkers, NY, providing a warm, nurturing, and thoughtfully prepared environment for children from 6 weeks to 5 years old, with after-school care also available.
Inspired by Montessori and Reggio Emilia, our program encourages children to learn through hands-on experiences, exploration, creativity, and meaningful play. We support each child's independence while respecting their individual interests, abilities, and pace of development.
Our teachers build strong, lasting relationships with every child and family, giving each child individualized care throughout the day. Children enjoy bilingual English and Spanish learning, homemade meals, and age-appropriate activities.
Families receive private daily updates, photos, and important information through Brightwheel. Our staff is CPR and First Aid certified, and we are proud to provide a safe environment where children feel loved, confident, and excited to learn.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Teachers Our teachers are caring, experienced, and certified in CPR and first aid. They speak both English and Spanish, and they follow each child's pace with warmth and patience, inspired by the Montessori and Reggio Emilia approaches. Each child is supported as capable and curious, with individual attention throughout the day.

Our program is located in a welcoming, family-oriented community with convenient access for parents and caregivers. Our location provides a warm, safe, and comfortable environment where children can learn, play, explore, and feel at home throughout the day. We are proud to serve families from the surrounding neighborhoods and continue building strong relationships within our community.
We are also currently expanding and preparing to open an additional location, allowing us to welcome more families while continuing to provide the same personal attention, nurturing environment, and high-quality early childhood experience that families value.
