Program

Welcome to Little Owlet Playschool! Our mission is to provide a safe, loving, and fun environment for children ages 2 to 10 years. We care for children in an environment where learning is fun so that the love of learning is instilled in your child’s life. Our philosophy is that children learn at different paces and by various modes. What works well for one child may be less effective for another. Our goal is to provide an individualized program to support every aspect of the child’s growth- physical, mental, auditory, and sensory.
We offer a dual-immersion program. Our program allows children to take risks while learning a new language and encourages them not to feel self-conscious. The program's goal is to promote fluency and comprehension in Spanish and English for all participating students.
Our vision is that your child will leave Little Owlet Playschool prepared for kindergarten and most importantly develop a lifelong love of learning. We are open from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm and offer full-time, part-time care, and preschool Monday-Friday.

I graduated from the California State University Bakersfield with a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies and went on to receive my Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential. I have 32 years of teaching experience and I am passionate about delivering quality care and providing an individualized program to support every aspect of a child’s growth.

With my certifications in First Aid, CPR, and teaching, I balance safety, education, and fun, to equip children with the tools they need to thrive and achieve a bright and happy future.

Location

Little Owlet Playschool is a home daycare created to encourage curiosity and learning in a clean space. For your convenience and safety, our home includes a driveway for parking. We also have dedicated areas for learning and activities that include a backyard, an art area, and a reading area.

Our Bakersfield daycare is located in a family-oriented neighborhood.
