What are some creative, small space-friendly, indoor activities to try with my 4-year-old? On rainy days or when we aren’t free to play outside, all she wants to do is play with the iPad. We’re trying to encourage her to lay off the screen a bit.

We have a 5-year-old at home and are expecting a baby girl next month. Our son is excited to be a big brother, but I’m worried about keeping those kindergarten colds and germs from our newborn. Any tips on how to make mornings with little ones less stressful? I just returned to work last month after being a stay-at-home mom for three years, so our 3-year-old started daycare. The shift has been tough on all of us. He’s having tantrums, a hard time with wake-ups, issues with eating his breakfast, you name it.
