My son is allergic to pollen and lately there's been a lot of flowers blooming. I don't want to continuously give him benadryl since it makes him drowsy. Help!

My little ones spent some time with their grandparents over the weekend, and my mom let them play some games on her iPad. My kids weren’t interested in my phone or iPad before, but they sure are now! They won’t stop bugging me about playing games on them. Is it bad for kids to have to be exposed to things like this? How much time is too much screen time?

Okay, so I know this is a big topic, but I’m wondering what your honest thoughts are on vaccines. I’ve read so much on both sides, but I’m kind of afraid to talk to my mom friends about it. Do you vaccinate your children, and why or why not?

My Sammy keeps having accidents. She has been potty trained for over a year, but she tends to hold it in until the very last minute. That’s fine when we’re at home because she can run to the bathroom, but when we’re in the car or out in public it means lots of accidents. Help us out!

I’ve been very careful to make sure my twins really only have healthy food. When we go out, they get a glass of water or milk (rarely juice), and their diet is very healthy. I’m proud of it! But they spent some time with my sister and their older cousins yesterday and I found out they gave my little ones soda, which (no surprise) they loved. Should I nip this in the bud? Is it something that is unavoidable? And are there any sodas that I specifically shouldn’t let them have?

My 8 month old wakes up every 2-3 hours and it’s making me insane. Has anyone else failed at the Ferber method? I don’t know what to do.

My toddler keeps leaking through his diapers every night. They’re completely soaked and they soak through his PJs and blankets, as well. Does anyone know of some good overnight diapers or other things they’ve done to deal with leaky diapers at night?

My mother in law has started asking when we’re going to have our little girl’s ears pierced. I didn’t get mine pierced until I was about 15 or 16, so I was never planning on having her ears done so young. She’s only 5. Obviously there’s nothing wrong with waiting until later, but I’m feeling kind of pressured. Does anyone have strong opinions about having a child’s ears pierced?

I give myself a fresh manicure every week or two, and my daughter (5) and son (2) like to sit with me and watch. I’m almost surprised it took them this long, but today my daughter asked me if I could paint her nails, too, and then as soon as she wanted that, so did my son. I told them I’d think about it. How do you moms feel about painting your kiddos’ nails? Am I making too big of a deal about it? Do they allow kids to have their nails painted at preschool?

We’re pregnant again and I’m wondering when and how to tell my daughter. She’s three.
