Tips and advice for parents, from parents and educators in the community!

Hello my name is Maiya, I am twenty years old and currently looking into becoming a full time nanny. While I do not have experience specifically working as a nanny, I do have plenty of experience caring for and looking after children of all ages, including infants. I have had CPR training and am currently taking courses in infant and child first-AID as well as babysitting and advanced childcare to further my knowledge and skills. I do also have experience working professionally with children as I was a children's church ministry intern for about two years. Duties included planning lessons and activities for/teaching younger kids and toddlers. I also have a year of experience working as a housekeeper. My current job working for a company that sells shoes and sportswear pays very well but is not emotionally fulfilling. I have always had a deep love for children and very much enjoy being a caretaker over them, which is why I would like to pursue it as a career. I also love animals and am comfortable with pets. I do have reliable transportation and am able to help with running errands, grocery shopping, cleaning, laundry, carpooling, etc. I live in the Lincolnton area and am willing to travel up to twenty miles.

I have my brothers and I watch them all the time I watch my three month your Cousin and I mainly work from my house but if you prefer I will go to yours and currently I have an 11-year-old that I am watching for a year because her parents went off on a trip and I’m watching her we’ve had a very close bond so yeah she’ll have to come with me but she is also really good with kids Answering me and her will be coming out with the Website
For babysitting I will check the website the second we get it up

Hello,

I am located in Victorville, Ca. Looking for a childcare/babysitting job. I am a mother of 1 son and I have experience with watching twins, my nieces who are now 26 years old. I love all children, but babies/infants are my weakness 🙂. I am capable of watching 3-4 children at a time, but my age preference is newborn to 4-5 years of age. So if you’re a parent in need of care in the high desert or surrounding area…I’m available any day/time of the week. I can travel to you, OR watch child/ren at my home. I am CPR/first aid certified. The first time I went to college I taught performing arts as a volunteer in America, Germany, Holland, Poland, and Japan. The implication of emotional intelligence is extremely important to me.
