Since I was in middle school I would volunteer to help my Mom teach the preschool Sunday school at our church. I would also volunteer as a camp counselor whenever I could for various camps, such as cheerleading, horseback riding and church camp. I’ve been baby sitting on and off since my freshman year of highschool, wherever I could get jobs. When I turned 16 I started working at the YMCA at my house as an assistant preschool teacher. I worked there regularly until leaving for college and worked when I was in the area on thanksgiving, and Christmas break. I am currently a full time student but most of my classes are in the mornings and my weekends are free. I am majoring in wildlife biology and I love animals. I have my own car and a clean record as far as any accidents, tickets and I haven’t even ever been pulled over. My favorite age to work with is infants to 4 years old because of my previous work as a preschool teacher but of course I love kiddos of any age. I am high energy and very creative so I am confident that I have many ways to keep kids with lots of different interests entertained.
