I've been an aunt for 14 years and that's where my love for babysitting started. I learned at an early how to care for a newborn, how to make a bottle just right, I learned that toddlers need to be taught and not lectured or scolded but they also need love, attention but tough love.
But nothing compares to what I’ve learned as a mother to a 5 year old myself. I’ve learned to have more patience than anyone I know, I’ve learned to love better through words of understanding, and so much more!
