I'm located in Snellville, GA and have 35 years of childcare experience as a babysitter. I can travel up to 25 miles to care for children. I'm able to care for as many as 4 children. I care for children from newborns to 14 years old. I assist families with childcare Saturday - Sunday. I can assist with cleaning and household chores, homework help, house sitting, laundry, meals and meal prep, potty training, and transportation. I can also work with pets. I charge a per hour rate based on the number of children I care for. Rates are $20 per hour for one child, $21 per hour for two children, $22 per hour for three children, and $23 per hour for four children. I am trained in CPR and first aid. I have certificates in special needs.

I am certified as a Personal Care Assistant (9/8/23). Starting next year I will be taking a class to become certified as a CNA. I have an Associates of Science (Fine Arts degree).

I am able to babysit any child, special needs as well as other children. I have experience in tube feeding, using a lift to put a child in a wheelchair, bathing, brushing teeth, feeding, bedtime stories, activities of all kinds for all ages. I have briefly worked with speech therapists, so I know what to look for when children struggle with reading. My son was add/adhd and he was developmentally delayed, so I have plenty of experience in that area. I have also worked with autistic children as well as children with down syndrome. My "philosophy" working with children is that ALL children are a joy to work with. They all seek love, attention, and fun, and they love it when they get attention bit above all, the more they are around people they know, they are comfortable and feel safe. That is a goal I feel is important. I want to create a safe and loving environment for whatever child(ren) I take care of. It boosts their self-esteem and they crave the feeling of being wanted/loved. That is, above all, the most important thing I try to give each child I take care of.
