Profile I have been caring for children since I was fifteen years old. I have a huge family, so as the older cousin I took pride in caring for and babysitting my younger cousins when the adults of the family had something important to do, or just wanted a night out. Over the years, while working on my career in cosmetology as well as while obtaining my degree, I continued to babysit children in my family and the children of trusted families that I’ve grown to know very well. I’ve worked as a school aide as well as a literacy tutor, and while babysitting I always try to integrate some of the educational techniques that I’ve learned from working with children, and my schooling. As I stated before I’ve been to school for cosmetology so I also like to do cute little hairstyles for the girls when they ask for it, it makes it fun and it’s a great learning experience for them!
