I have worked with kids since I was 11 years old taking the babysitting course. I have always loved kids and enjoy working with and embracing their incredible imaginations. I have worked within a school system for special needs students for the past 8 years. I have Bachelors in Social Sciences with a focus on social work and a minor in psychology. I am originally from Rochester NY where I worked at a day care center in YMCA. Following graduation I got a job in special education through a program known as BOCES. Specifically I earned a job with Monroe BOCES 2 within their intensive management program as a 1:1. After about a year I was moved up to classroom aid within the same program. The program ranged from Kindergarten to 5th grade before dropping 5th grade and only going up till 4th.
