I've worked with children related to me since I was about 12-13 years old. I was taking care of my first niece, and watching her while she was barely a year old, till she was about 4. I have worked for the Springfield Public School District 186, going on 4 school years. 2 of those years as an afternoon supervisor monitoring children during lunch/recess. And going on my second school year working with the special education department, as a paraprofessional. During the summers since 2023 I sign up to be a camp counselor for kids in Kindergarten-5th grade, in this program I help kids that have fallen behind academically, as well as providing them the opportunity to attend camp assigned trips.
