Hello, my name is Jay Morrison, I'm from Washington D.C & I moved to New York after I received a scholarship from St.Johns University. I started my child care journey in college where I was in a teaching program that allowed us to teach three elementary school classes a week. It was in this program where I found I had a natural ability to relate to kids. This passion grew even stronger throughout my 4 years, since every semester break, I would come home to work at my Churchs' Aftercare program with kids ages 5-13, where I was either babysitting the youngest or helping the older students with their homework. I even was an assistant coach to the 8U Boys basketball team at the church, where building their trust was pivotal as it lead to building confidence & team chemistry. Fast forward to today where I recently worked as a SPED Kindergarten Teacher, it has been so rewarding in ways I can't express but in short, I can adapt to any of your child's needs & handle their feelings with care.
