I have been caring for the elderly for 6 years and when I was working as a hospice aid I realized how much some family members needed help or just a break from there duties. I would assure them that they can go have lunch or take a break from caring for there sick sister, brother, parent, husband. Etc. From that half hour to one hour they would come back thanking me and appreciating that I went out my way to help. That was when I realized I could do a job like this which helped me financially and also helped families. While my sister was doing school I took care of her 3 kids so she can focus on her schooling. It feels great to bomd with kids, help them with anything they need and also to help a family or anyone in need knowing they trust there full home, there child and the safety if the child with me.
