I've been a nanny and caregiver for 13 years. I started when I was 11 with my family and after about two years, I ran a small daycare as soon as school let out for the day. I sometimes would be up all night but still maintained my grades! Someone even left their twins with me for weeks at a time for the entire summer... I didn't mind because I love children and I know a lot of parents need help especially with not having a babysitter for work. Once my mom seen how responsible I was she let me house sit for people around my neighborhood. After that it was a full-time job that I really enjoyed! I literally have no complaints at all. I love children and helping out in any way I'm able to.
