Profile When my son was 2 years old I had taken him to the park. Another parent was sitting next to me and explained her sitter had just worked half a day and quit. I offered to take care of her son and that's how my career as a child care provider started. I enjoyed caring for children so much I decided to earn an Early Childhood Education Certificate in 1992. I also became a foster parent for 8 years.
