Hi! I am a New Orleans native. I graduated from The LeMoyne Owen College with a degree in education. I have been teaching grades Pre-k - 5th for 7 years. I have taught all subjects including Ela, math, science, reading intervention, etc.
I was the school culture lead/dean of culture for 2 1/2 years. I handled all student behavior, incentives, and activities.
Kids are my passion. As a teacher, I have to care for 31 students daily. I am responsible for keeping them safe and teaching them for 8 hours. I am very open with communication with all of my parents. The joy my students give me everyday makes me smile.
I am very positive when working with students and love working with kids. I believe kids can learn and have fun at the same time. . I love being that light of positivity for all kids.
