My experiences in the performance & visual arts have lead me to the beautiful path of child development. I have been able implement my performing arts training as an important tool in my belt as a Lead Infant & school age teacher. I am also young mom of two! (2 yrs & 5 weeks!) I have obtained my Child Development Associate & plan on continuing my education. The development of a child’s physical, emotional, & educational path is of utmost importance. I am experienced in creating developmental based lesson plans & believe that the parent-caregiver relationship needs to be STRONG & comfortable. Children are the root of my laughter & I love being silly and genuine with them! Ive been told I have a childlike soul & carry this with the children I work with. In high school I was given the chance to direct shows (theater) for ages 2-18yrs (up to 30 children all on one stage @ one time!) This was what ultimately lead me to the career path I have, and love, now! The amazing chaos that comes with taking care of children drives me.
