I have always enjoyed taking care of children. I started babysitting when I was 12 years old. All the parents that I sat for were regular repeat customers. They always called me back, because I got along great with their children. I always followed their rules and kept their children on the schedules they set. In addition, I also usually did some light house cleaning so that they returned to their home to find it a little nicer than when they left. Therefore, they could relax some and not have to worry about some of the daily chores, such as doing dishes or taking out the trash and other such things. have continued to babysit off and on over the years for friend and family. Although, not as regular, due to working and raising my own four children, whom I am very proud of as they all surpassed me. So I feel I must have done something right.
Children are sponges that soak up all the knowledge around them. It is up to us to make sure that knowledge is of a positive nature. Our children are the future.
