I have been taking care of kids since I was 15. I currently help baby sit for 3 family's totaling 7 children. 1 is autistic and all though I am not certified I sat in on his therapy sessions for 2 years to learn how to better accommodate someone with autism. 1 child has down syndrome and I've been working with her for her whole life and she's a teenager now. 1 is 4 years old and can't eat many solids so I must adhere to a special diet. None of the children have 2 parents so I know how to be help with the feelings children have in those situations. I know how to teach kids skills like riding a bike and am a very patient and nurturing individual.
