Hi family :) , hope you doing well because of the pandemic situation! My name is
Carolina Estrada, I'm 23 years old, I'm a student of Industrial Engineering and I'm in
the last semester! , and truly so happy to finish!
All my life I've been living in the same city, it is called Mérida and it state is Yucatán, I
mean, I live near to Cancún!! we have this wonderful beach at 3 hours from my city, so
it is so common to go there for vacations or relax one weekend, for this and for so
many reasons I considerer that I'm so fortunately to live here. In my house we are 6 in
total, my mom, my dad, my sister and of course my 2 little most beautiful in the word
dogs (both female), and their are considerer as daughters as me.
Personally I think that I'm a person with so many values, my parents teach me since
when I was a baby, also Im so grateful for what I have and I try to do the possible thing
and actions to achieve my goals. I consider that both values and physical and mental
health are also very important in our lives, and I thank my parents for always teaching
us that if we do not have these three factors at 100%, it will very possibly be difficult to
find that balance in our lives, I always liked being in some sport or some physical
activity, and that made me live with many people of different ages, especially young
children and even babies who are still developing their motor skills.

I consider myself as a responsable, engaged but
above all a very loving person, and in this way I'll do the necessary to teach all the values to
become a good persons in this society y and mostly to have an unforgettable childhood; Your
kids and I can do school activities like drawing, imagine, painting, shorten the path, table games
that help mental development (puzzle, jenga, etc.), games for the purpose of physical activity
(mini futball, mini voleyball, etc.), and you should not miss rest since it is very important to
recharge your batteries during the day.
All these activities and more, I have done with the children I have taken care of, since they woke
up, I tried to give them breakfasts something fun with shapes, happy faces with fruit or on
pancakes (depending on the breakfast that the mother told me ), although I can assure you that
for all of us, our favorite activity was going out to the park to play soccer, basketball, we laughed
a lot and we loved meeting new friends (children or dogs), who sometimes met at our house to
play too!
As I said, I wanted to be an AuPair since a long time and this is relationed by so many stuff,
mostly because I love children, I love they way of seeing life, they innocence and the honesty
that nature brings, but another reason why I want to be is because I want to certify with
advanced English, and that this opens the doors to you in different work opportunities to the
others, also that you can communicate with 95% of the whole world and I verified it last year
that I was on an exchange, sometimes it made me sad to "talk" because it worked a lot and that
embarrassed me, and the last reason is because all my life I have dreamed of buying a car for
myself, currently we only have 1 in my family that is shared by all who need it, so sometimes it is
difficult to reach an agreement with my family.

For me being an AuPair give me that "plus" on my professional CV (curriculum vitae), the plan I
have in mind when I return is to get me a good job in an international company that can support
both me and my family, whether it be in Mexico or outside of Mexico!
Family, I say goodbye with a big hug, I hope to hear from you very soon! I have not met you but I
know that I will love you very much and I will always be grateful for opening the doors of your
home and your heart to me.
