I dont have any certificates but I do have experience. I have a child who has special needs, he is 9. I also have a background of about 6 years with working with individuals living in group homes that have special needs and/or mentally handicapped. I've went through many trainings for emotions, safety, de-escalation skills, etc. I did everything from house chores, meals, meal prep, shopping, helping assist with hygiene, activities, med management. I also grew up as the old child of all of my cousins. At the age of 12 I would watch up to 5-7 children every Monday through Friday 6am-4pm. I am CPR/First Aide Certified as well.
