I have 3 siblings that I always took care of since they were 1 years old. My youngest I took care of all the time. To waking up, making breakfast, reading and hw, lunch, snack, I always played toys with him and made up a voice for every character so he always stayed happy and content. I’m always kind and reason with kids instead of yelling or telling them they’re wrong. Babies, kids are humans too and have feelings and shouldn’t just be told no right away or stop. It doesn’t really work I’ve noticed by my siblings so it’s best to target the situation in a communicative manner with a civil voice. However if they aren’t listening and won’t reason with me I would put them in timeout for a few minutes until they were ready to talk.
You’re child will be safe with me and comfortable. :)
