I’m great with kids and they seem to always be drawn to me, one of my most memorable moments when babysitting is when I was watching someone with special needs. I had sat in a recliner when the little boy I was watching came up to sit in the chair with me and lay his head on my arm, his aunt came upstairs and started freaking out asking to get a picture of this monumental moment because he doesn’t like physical affection and never does that! I can’t begin to tell you how special and amazed I felt in that moment!! I love providing a safe, loving, encouraging environment for children to learn and grow in! My goal is to help them feel confident within themselves, actively use manners, and flourish in a positive environment. I will always enforce positive attitudes, helping kids express their emotions using healthy outlets, being kind and considerate to others, and overall just a healthy lifestyle. I am an advocate that although kids are “kids” they are still intellectuals who are in a pivotal growth period and deserve to be treated as such. I will not “baby” your kids, I strive to help give them tools they can use throughout life and provide them with the care they need.

I’ve been around children my whole life. My mom has either ran or worked at a daycare for as long as I can remember and I was always excited to be her little helper. I took Childhood Development I and II in highschool and was absolutely fascinated by everything I learned.
