I carried my CPM, NA and RN at different times years ago while living in Iowa. I worked as a babysitter, at in-home daycares, and daycare facilities throughout my time in college while raising my own children. About 8 years of paid childcare work. My spouse and I are empty nesters from our three kids. We are also now grandparents! Highly experienced in caring for children of all ages, and abilities. We just moved to Peoria, February 2024. I am coming back from a very long illness. I've been cleared to work some part time hours, and would love to get myself back to the joy (and oh the sweet struggle) of childcare. I am currently a licensed Cosmetologist but can not take on the full time hours and need to start slow.
I love to dance, sing and be silly; Play board games, watch movies, do art, read, take them on outing's, and just have great conversations with young ones. Also very confident in my ability for newborn and toddler care. numbers don't scare me. Have a big family? bring it on! Potty training, meal prep, cooking and light household cleaning.
Some limitations in mobility and schedule depend on your family's needs, and how much more healing I can do.

CPM, RN, NA are all lapsed certs. I currently hold my Cosmetology License and keep up with my CPR.
