Hi there!! My name is Addi, and I'm a student at Kirkwood going for Early Childhood Education. I have a seperate job where I supervise at a family entertainment center, but I'm looking for new opportunities and options that more involve children! I used to be a camp counselor and I have CPR/First Aid Certifications as well as Universal Precautions. I have 6 siblings, most younger than me and I've had to babysit them I don't even know how many times.
Some things that I think are important in child development are embracing their imagination and creativity. It's a big part of adult life and they should learn how to use it!! I also am big on acknowledging and teaching children that their feelings and thoughts matter! I love crafts, games, the outdoors, and more!!
