Crystal B.
I was in charge of looking after my brother by myself starting at 10, and I grew up looking after him. I was also trusted to look after young cousins, neighbors kids, and family friends would often ask my to babysit for them as well. Sometimes these experiences included house and pet sitting as well! Growing up, I was a cheerleader, and my team hosted day camps that'd teach skills to young kids. Along with teaching these skills, we were tasked with doing fun arts & crafts with them, and playing games. Outside of these team activities, I also hosted my own coaching events, in which I was the main person in charge of taking care of a larger groups of kids, and now, I am working as an official coach in Madisonville. This work experience has given me a greater insight in learning how to get down to a kids level to help them understand things, whether it be gymnastics, games, or homework. I attend to small-time injuries, and make it an important point to help a child with any problems they may be facing, no matter how small.
