I was a medical assistant for 30 years. After my 2 own children left home ,I found I really missed being around kids. I have been a long term professional nanny for several families. I have been fortunate enough to start with them in early infancy and stay until they started preschool. I believe in lots of smiles , hugs and positive affirmations. I like to “sneak in “ teaching through song,dance,art and large motor skill activities. I don’t do screen time , unless requested by the parents and I have always formed strong bonds and friendships with my nanny families. When the child is napping , I like to do light housekeeping, laundry, food prep or whatever is required. I found my niche working with young children and hope I can become a “third parent “ or surrogate grandmother figure. I look forward to meeting my next family
