Brooklyn B.
Hi There! My name is Rachel. Working as a lead Pre- Kindergarten, Infant, and Toddler teacher at a Christian preschool for over 4 years has allowed me to continue expressing my love for growing children. I was always the outgoing teacher who tried to make learning as colorful and interesting as possible! I sought out to make each child feel special, safe, understood, and loved. I feel that being goofy and letting loose is healthy and necessary! I also believe in rules and routines to keep balance and safety. Along with teaching, I also worked two years as a Child Crisis Intervention Specialist. Feel free to ask about this if you're curious! After two years of this work, I became pregnant with my now almost 3 yr old son. Since then, I have been a stay at home mom and love it! Even though my child is older now, I still remember the newborn stage.. constant eating, sleeping, changing, trial and error with cues, comforting…the snuggles!
That being said, I’m great with nap/nighttime routines/night wakings because it’s what I do in my own home everyday! I have endless patience and have become very creative when it comes to things like toddlers/infants eating, sleeping, crying, soothing, being particular, etc. My body is already trained to night wakings as my husband and I have been working through a sleep regression with our son for the past couple of months.
Nothing we can’t handle! Looking forward to hearing from you!
