Briana C.
Hi families! My name is Niki, and I am 26 years old with over 8 years of experience working with children in a variety of settings, including preschools, elementary schools, after-school programs, summer school programs, and currently as a SPED paraeducator at a middle school. I also earned my Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Mt. Hood Community College.
While I may not have formal nanny experience, I have helped care for my sister’s children from birth through kindergarten, which gave me hands-on experience supporting young children through important developmental stages. Combined with my background in Early Childhood Education, I have a strong understanding of child development and how to help children build the skills and confidence they need to succeed when they begin school.
Working with children is truly something I am passionate about. I strive to build positive, trusting relationships with the children I work with and create an environment where they feel safe, supported, included, and excited to learn. My experience as a SPED para has also helped me develop patience, adaptability, and a deeper understanding of creating inclusive environments that support every child’s individual needs.
I would love the opportunity to support your family and be a positive, caring presence in your child’s life!
I received my associates degree in early childhood education and development from Mt. Hood community college in 2021
