Other than my au pair experience in China, I have not had the opportunity to be a nanny for a family. It is a job that I have always wanted as I love kids and have always been good with them. I am currently enrolled in college so I would like to exit the fast food industry and start a job I would enjoy. I am not currently vaccinated, however I would not object to doing so if preferred by the family.
I took two years of child development while in high school and did a little of of ESL training to become an au pair. I was an au pair in China for two different families. One had two boys (2 and 7), and the other had two girls (7 and 14). While in my child development class I worked with the ages from newborn to pre school age. Not only do I have experience with other children, but I am also the oldest of six kids with the youngest that just 5.
