Fun & Learn Family Daycare
At Play and Grow Saratoga Daycare, we provide licensed, home-based childcare for children ages 4 months to 8 years in a warm, safe, and nurturing environment where every child feels valued and supported.
Our play-based program encourages children to learn through stories, music, art, sensory exploration, outdoor play, and hands-on activities. Spanish is naturally incorporated into daily routines, songs, and conversations, helping children develop language skills while exploring their world.
We support each child's individual needs and developmental milestones while fostering independence, creativity, social-emotional growth, and positive relationships. From attentive infant care to preschool activities that build kindergarten readiness, our goal is to help every child grow with confidence at their own pace.
With personalized attention, no screen time, daily outdoor play, and open communication with families, Play and Grow is a place where children feel at home and parents feel confident in their care.
Play and Grow Saratoga Daycare is conveniently located in San Jose, near major freeways, making drop-off and pick-up easier for busy families commuting to work. Street parking and driveway parking are available for parents, offering added convenience during daily drop-offs and pick-ups. We welcome families from San Jose and the surrounding communities.
I'm Maria and my experience working with children began in my teens, when I helped my mother at her home daycare. Since then, I have worked as a preschool teacher's assistant and led an after-school program for elementary-age children.
With a master's degree in Spanish and a background in education, I bring both language experience and a passion for helping children learn. I continue to deepen my understanding of child development through independent study, professional workshops, and resources such as The Creative Curriculum. I am also CPR-certified and committed to ongoing professional growth.
As a mother of two, I understand the trust it takes to choose someone to care for your child. I consider it a privilege to partner with families during these important early years.
