Vickie’s Daycare, operated by Victoria Salvatierra in San Jose, I provide a small, loving family daycare experience with no more than 8 children in care at a time. I follow a project-based, play-based approach that includes preschool curriculum, outdoor activities, field trips, and homework help for school-age children. I care for infants through preschoolers and limit infant enrollment to one at a time to ensure focused, attentive care. All meals are included, along with diapers and wipes until age 3½, and I partner closely with families on potty training. I also offer transportation and school pick-up, with flexible full-time, part-time, and drop-in care available seven days a week from early morning to late evening.

I’m Victoria Salvatierra, owner and operator of Vickie’s Daycare, and I’ve been proudly serving families for 23 years. I hold an associate degree and am certified in CPR and First Aid. I run a small, home-based program so I can give each child the attention, care, and consistency they need to feel safe and supported. My approach is warm, structured, and hands-on, helping children learn, explore, and build confidence at their own pace. I have extensive experience with infants through preschoolers, including potty training, and I work closely with parents to create a strong partnership that supports each child’s development.
